Businesses listed here have provided installation services using Feather Friendly® window collision prevention markers for private residences in the Ottawa-Gatineau area.
Inclusion in this list does not constitute an endorsement from Safe Wings Ottawa. Most sign and window film companies should be able to do the same, provided they follow established criteria for application (e.g. max 5 cm x 5 cm spacing). Property owners should do their due diligence, and are encouraged to verify with Safe Wings Ottawa that the proposed solution meets bird-safe criteria.
Regardless of what installers say, please DO NOT choose clear perforated film (full coverage or patterns), UV-reflecting products, or any visual markers spaced more than 5 cm apart or applied to the interior of the glass.
Feather Friendly can be purchased online from the Feather Friendly website, at Wild Birds Unlimited, or at Lee Valley.
