Please Sign! – Bird Window Collision Prevention Petition

 

This week, FLAP Canada and Safe Wings Ottawa are partnering on a bird display at the Canadian Museum of Nature coming up on Thursday March 13. For the first time ever, birds killed by collisions with buildings and collected by FLAP volunteers in #Toronto, as well as by teams in London #ldnont by Bird Friendly London and #Guelph by Bird Safe Guelph will be transported to #Ottawa to contribute to the display at the doorstep of Canada’s parliament, representing collisions as a national-level priority for migratory bird and Species at Risk conservation.

 

We are asking the public to support us by signing our joint open letter to the federal and Ontario provincial governments urging them to enforce regulations which prohibit building owners from killing birds, and to establish incentives to help implement bird safe building solutions.
