FOR VOLUNTEER USAGE ONLY
- For all displayable birds, even if damaged (but not decomposing), enter the unique tag number under “Safe Wings #”. Type “N/A” if you do not have tags, as one will be added later.
- For any birds that are either not collected, not displayable, only partly collected, live but escaped or sighted only, put an “x” in Safe Wings # and choose the appropriate status.
- For live birds that have been brought to rehab, enter N/A in Safe Wings # and put their WBCC # into the next field.
- Do not try to tag hummingbirds or owls! Just stick the tag to the info card in the bag.
- Please check all birds for bands. If you find a banded bird, please follow these instructions.
